From July onwards, Mont-Blanc Escalade offers you courses in total harmony with the mountain and respect for nature.
Children’s course, from 8 to 14 years old by age and level group for an introduction to outdoor climbing.
4 persons Min, 8 persons Max.
Course of this course (Monday to Thursday):
A “Couenne” day (one length route on a cliff) where your children will learn the fundamentals of climbing:
-Belaying: The right methods and attitudes, as well as the different materials, when and how to use each of them.
-The knots: Realization and explanation of the utility of each one, when and how to use each one.
-The terrain : Anticipation of risks, preparation of “Crux” (difficult passages) in the route.
A Via-Ferrata day
A day of bouldering in a natural environment
A second day “Couenne” (one length cliff route) where your children will improve their outdoor climbing skills:
-Belays: Learn how to move in a roped party, find the belay points and attach yourself safely to them
-Manipulations: Learning to move on the cliff, manipulation of ropes to help a rope mate or to initiate an abseil.
-The terrain: Learn to respect the mountain, because it decides.
Beforehand:
For your children, whatever their level of climbing.
In case of rain, the courses will take place at the Mont-Blanc Escalade in Les Houches: Even if the hall is approaching its maximum capacity, your children will have absolute priority, and their place will be reserved in all circumstances.
